Spring Sings

Spring sings of floral denim dreams Of Lillie’s ,larks and lime green Of kites that unite world peace Fourth of July more than a party Spring is jumping in cool lake Wind in hair splashing smiley face All on a dare the sun an escape Tan feet bare that run a race Here marching geese family Parading their chicks waddling And circadian song rhyming In the neon night chiming Spring screams of new life Of warm days and charm nights Sun dresses and shorts above thighs All earth creatures do delight
