Spring Romance
Southern breeze brings the charisma of spring
New leaves in trees of verdant garden swing
Rose buds unfurl petals first
Flowers bloom with color burst
Fragrance wafts on rhythmic butterfly wing.
Two young lovers roam in garden in trance
To impress her he doesn’t take any chance
Gives a plucked rose so she gleams
Finger pricked by thorn she screams
Walks away cross ending their spring romance.
