Spring Is Coming Soon
Society anticipates every late March,
Patiently awaiting the seasons rain drops,
Rain soaked ground all around,
Inadvertently will help nature rebound,
Galoshes put on little ones feet,
I remember my sons laughing with glee,
So little but splashing in puddles carefree,
Can you see and smell yet another rebirth,
Of what is happening under the earth,
Many flowers and trees springing back to life,
Imagine hearing them all bud and sigh,
Not much need to set your clocks alarm,
Guests with feathers chirping come crack of dawn,
Sunshine and rain intervals again help nature bloom,
Orchids popping out of their once dormant tombs,
Ordinary landscape now fragrant and in technicolor,
Nature replacing smiles on faces that were once so dour.
