Spring Is Coming Soon

Society anticipates every late March, Patiently awaiting the seasons rain drops, Rain soaked ground all around, Inadvertently will help nature rebound, Galoshes put on little ones feet, I remember my sons laughing with glee, So little but splashing in puddles carefree, Can you see and smell yet another rebirth, Of what is happening under the earth, Many flowers and trees springing back to life, Imagine hearing them all bud and sigh, Not much need to set your clocks alarm, Guests with feathers chirping come crack of dawn, Sunshine and rain intervals again help nature bloom, Orchids popping out of their once dormant tombs, Ordinary landscape now fragrant and in technicolor, Nature replacing smiles on faces that were once so dour. 3-16-17

Such a well written Acrostic Cheryl, we have not experienced a harsh winter in the U.K. For a few years but we welcome the thought of spring and summer, enjoyed, Roy, :)

You mixed lines of beauty with lines of grins and I had such a good time with your poem that I read it again. Good luck in Spring and in the contest, as well as all else! A 'perfect blend' poem! Hugs ... CayCay

Especially here in Canada where we have had so much snow. I love the changing seasons and each time it draw near time for a change I seem to be more than ready except when Summer passes all too swiftly. But the vibrant colors of Autumn are remarkable. Now I long for Spring and the return of the beautiful flowers in my garden. Great job here. Wonderful picture of the Spring we all long for. God Bless, JB
