Oh maybe in Texas, but here in the UK we have cooler climates and they last until late September... Petals are so different depending on where they bloom...

thanks for visiting, Silent One. Roses here typically bloom in early May and are associated more with spring than summer. They tend to wilt in summer's heat...sigh.

Awn this is so soul warming and beautiful dear sara, i love the warmth of your words and how gorgeous they are, especially your use of zephyr here is excellent and so fitting! Another seasonal haiku that depicts arrival of spring and what follows, you are definitely the queen of haiku! You nail them all. I loved reading this. A fave it is
