Anacreontic Verse
I’ll go a long way,
across the new year,
find you in moonshine
of the sapphire night.
In my silk meadow
like dew drop you’ll glow,
my love glints for you.
I’ll go a long way,
adore you with glee.
When you’re by the sea,
waves spread strings of pearl,
your satin feet curl,
my love adorns you.
I’ll go a long way,
seek you in dream trail.
Face in stardust veil,
I’ll be on a flight
on wings of delight,
my love flies for you.
I’ll go a long way,
try to make you mine.
As I’ll walk alone
in garden you own,
my wish turns for you
to a flower new,
blooming in new year,
love brings spring for you.
