Spring : Disappearing
"Beauty of spring I read, when I look out only buildings and shop I see""
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Spring, is a season of beginning and birth
New born leaves, flowers, fruits and green surroundings
Warm sun, cool breeze, a season of joy and mirth
Fluttering beauties, chirping resounding
Long walks in garden, happiness no dearth
Watching birds lay eggs, young ones astounding
Festivals, love and joyous celebration
Time to stay outdoor, enjoy creation
No big trees in town, birds fly in despair
No place to lay eggs, nowhere to build nest
Many birds extinct, bare surrounds I stare
Viewing trees, plants, flowers, fruits, nests my quest
They're found only in parks gives me a scare
No spring, no joy, no life, I am distressed
Let's do something before it goes out of hand
Already we have done much damage to land
While you enjoy spring in all its glory
Think of what coming generation will see
They will be only reading it in story
Will surely say, "Why you did not foresee?
You wrote, why you didn't create a furore?
Fresh air was depleting you can't disagree".
To avert further damage, let's all join hands
Along with writing, work to increase green lands
