Spring
Daffodils deftly defying
the winter that withered the land
pick precious pansies relying
on spring sun to welcome first hand.
Rain runs rivulets of rainbow
blue, purple and pink in perfume
aromas ardor in heart glow
erupting eternities bloom.
Sunshines saucy song in springtime
birds broadcast beacons of beauty
frogs frolic a festive bell chime
calling their mate to their booty.
Awakened awareness awaits
continuous calling for mates.
