CayCay, a wonderful and creative spring haiku. Florida may have a one day spring but nothing like the contrast of winter to spring in the Northeast. Congratulations on your winning placement.

Florida with tropical climate does not show special signs of spring compared to places where winter is quite prominent. In such places 'springs divine gifts sing' . Beautifully written haiku, dear Cay.

Florida is mute made me pause and think its very quiet there right now! Or maybe spring is arriving a bit late? As no birds seems to sing? How beautiful is your spring haiku! Flows so well too! Must be gorgeous weather there right now with all spring blooms dressing the trees! And bird songs! Pleasure reading your haiku! Best wishes

To me, Florida's spring is a non-event. Compared to American States that bloom glorious, lush, enchanting growth, I'm not really Spring-moved. Even barren Texas gives one BlueBonnets to ew and ah about. HOWEVER, Florida has a tropical beauty that I quite embrace and many other sense-gifts (YES, many exotic birds.) Thanks for visiting. It's where I have lived since 2020. Paridise regained / Lizards Regained (lived here before.) I DO NOT miss winter, but I do crave fall and spring at times. CayCay

Thank you, Anne-Lise. I do miss Spring as I've lifelong experienced it. It just isn't the same in Florida. Upside, love being minutes from the Atlantic and not experiencing winter anymore ... CayCay
