Spring

SPRING I hear birds as they sing Heralding the onset of Spring I watch them on the wing Building nests of twigs and string Soon I'll see the one thing That their tireless efforts bring A nest of their own offspring So when the birds begin to sing It's a certain sign of Spring 15 March 2018 For the contest sponsored by Michael Vacek

hello Curtis, when the birds sing it is a sign of Spring. Ha! here where I live it is suppose to be Spring, but we have snow. Mother nature must be fond of winter here where I live. have a nice day my friend.

Thank you, Line! I enjoy entering contests win or lose but good to at least place. Monorhyme is not one of my favorite forms but Spring is my favorite time of year second only to Christmas.
