Spent Life All Alone

SPENT LIFE ALL ALONE I sail in stream, sail in sea all alone. Little brittle ripples dance on river Or giant sea waves to roar or to groan. I watch swimmer and pearl-seeking diver. Spent life all alone in river or sea. My aqua marine life quite at random. Sometimes morose, sometimes frolic and free. No boredom always enjoyed freedom. Boat is my kin, my friend, my heart, my soul. My life -long partner with body and mind. I sail aimless not to reach any goal. Aqua passion- lone voyage entwined. On forlorn journey I exult or mourn Yet I spent my aqua life all alone. 05/28/19 Picture # 2 Spent Life All Alone 'Choices' Poetry Contest by Sara Kendrick
