Sound of Silence Safe and sound in my sanctuary blue My spirit seeks glimpse of You And in my solitary seeking I hush with stillness rush As I brace myself for anything: A word from my muse A song I once heard You strumming. Flute and harp, piano and violin... My fave instruments; and In these solitary moments I'm renewed, all because of You. * Silence was my song as I put these words down. An anticipation in your meditative moments. "As I brace myself for anything" ... We never know what comes in moments like that, but there's a good reason to believe it's something positive. "I hush with stillness rush" ... with the body still the thoughts are free to roam. Well expressed, Iris.
