Sound of Silence
Safe and sound in my sanctuary blue
My spirit seeks glimpse of You
And in my solitary seeking
I hush with stillness rush
As I brace myself for anything:
A word from my muse
A song I once heard You strumming.
Flute and harp, piano and violin...
My fave instruments; and
In these solitary moments
I'm renewed, all because of You.
*
Silence was my song as I put these words down.
