Even the stars tremble, ever so faintly, glistening Revealing the heartbreak beneath the breath, Stars, still as night, they listen… Beyond the shudders, the tremulous sighs, Disturbing the silent prayers of dusk, Aching to invite the shadows, from their dark, Through the door of destiny, to a fated… Sea of make believe… Even the stars seem to believe in their heart, Forever music, quietly spun, From threads of melancholy, gossamers of wonder, On needles of a muse, all fiery with truth, Enslaving the dreams, the melodies and fantasies, Never giving in to reality, Fears quenched by the light that leads, Souls on fire for the rising moon, the whispers Beyond the caress of a tune, the newness Of a soft, graceful blue In skies stirred to smile by the joy of dawn, The sun reflecting it all… Even the stars know when we lie, At peace with the war Between harmony and strife, The blazing moments of wonders so alive, Sensing the poetry In the calm southern skies, The promise of a future where hearts decide, Will forever bring the winds to grieving, Or will the winds sing, disbelieving, Softly sighing, eventually agreeing… Even the stars, undisturbed by the voices Of a sincere spring, Or autumn’s leaves, dancing, praising, Obeying the seasonal mysteries, Blessing away the temptations to see, Fire in the eyes of tranquility, A blazing breath of the star’s gentleness Falling from the skies, Inviting you and I to the startling conclusions, Within the heart of the music… Even the stars, glowing in the twilight, Sending ambiances of yesterday, Seeds of hope, pulsations Praising, the One who made them, The Creator of our hearts, our souls, All the beautiful we can’t control – In Him, I find the peace to know, the lesson, To finally let go… Even the stars remember the moments, Before they were cast into the seas, Forever – endlessly, Carrying the tones of intimacy, Inviting the night to just breath, just breath The magnificence of grace, Solitude’s embrace… His kiss On my life, His pouring out of light, His sacrifice, the reason I’m assured, Beyond any doubt, I believe He’s erased the debt, That was mine to own, mine to pay – I won’t forget … Thanks to love, I know what it is to look at the stars, And remember this… - my soul’s cry - I am His! Yes, He is the light Displayed in my eyes, the light that abides because I believe HE’S ALIVE!

strong and inspirational poem, Gina. These words grabbed my attention immediately: Even the stars tremble, ever so faintly, glistening Revealing the heartbreak beneath the breath, Stars, still as night, they listen… I love the star metaphor for even in our darkest nights, hope shines giving us solace. A wonderful poem with a resonating message of His abiding light. have a great evening, Sara

Dear Gina, Your poem reached into the depths of my being, stirring emotions. Each line shouted with a profound truth that it felt as though you were speaking directly to my soul. The fantastic imagery of stars trembling beneath the weight of heartbreak, yet still listening. It reminded me that even in our darkest moments, beauty and hope persist if only we dare to embrace it. Your words danced gracefully between longing and belonging, love and sacrifice. They spoke of a journey through pain and doubt towards a place of peace and redemption. And in each stanza, I felt the past echoes of my own struggles and triumphs. Thank you, Gina, for sharing your heart with the world through your poetry. Your words have touched me reverberating the power of resilience, of faith, and of love. And for that, I am profoundly grateful. – Blessings, Daniel
