Soul In Slavery
I want a doll, a game, a TV
I want a couch, new car, excitememt
I want someone to love, romance new and passionate.
I want peace, contentment, satisfaction
I want everlasting love
I want to conquer my fears and speak eloquently.
I want to travel to the far ends of the world
and see all the sights before I leave this world.
I want to go to heaven, be obedient to God!
My soul wants, wants, WANTS!
What will satisfy?
I want to be in a cage and be fed and sing
I want to be free, and make my own path and never look back.
I want to play with my grand children one day, God willing.
I want to play volleyball and softball again.
I want to run and not be in pain and short of breath
I want to eat all the pastries and pies.
My soul wants, wants, WANTS!
What WILL satisfy?
