Sorry For Mumbling
Sorry for mumbling
But my memories are crumbling
Of me and you
On the swings in the park
And how after dark
You tucked me in bed
With a kiss on my head
Telling me wonderful tales
While the Thunder shatteres
And the Lightning flashes
The streets around
In dashes of purity
I saw my father's love as my blanket security
Both in sleep and awake
And when he died
The Thunder awoke
The Lightnings power
Inside the child
That only a father's
Love can suffer
Now i tread the night without my Buffer
