This poem was inspired by Panagiota Romios, thank you Pangie. ~
Of bereavement for a nation long ago blessed by God, a loved one no longer at the table, the environment of earth struggling to be an Eden. People clamoring for bread, a roof over their chilled body, some young and older- hoping for a kind word from parents, pray for them who seek love, sorrow brings strength. Do not let your tears flow down into silent repose, give of your heart, your money at times, doesn't matter if you're not wealthy, the philanthropy of the people like you and I, who are hurting themselves too- sorrow begets action, sorrow brings strength. ~

Regina, it’s almost 11 o’clock at night on I/22/2024, I am greatly humbled that you mentioned me as an inspiration to this poem)))Thank you! Playing victim or helpless is also what I meant. If we do not have life mentors, we go through life proving we are better, where winning is everything? The news creating lies in our lives and we use it a map to live our lives by? Many Americans hate America! If so,be ready to live in a Commie country or be a member of a Caliphate. Huggs , Pangie xxxx

Regina, Parents, poets, and prayers. It's said that man cannot live on bread alone "Matthew 4:4". There's a gift in your verse. -Richard
