Songs ... of the (Indian) People...
Living among the free,
is like breathing in the wind.
You never knew in which direction,
tomorrow would take you.
But that was why,
it was right, and best.
No limits,
except that of hardship,
and want,
if lacking in necessities.
Yet,
flying in the face of the clouds,
like the great birds in the mountain cliffs,
making their homes in high places,
laughing at the world below.
The people love the land.
The land does not love the people,
but the two understand that is not necessary,
to be at one with each other.
