At Journey’s end Going forward and back the pain remains the same Wearing the poeish color of never more Journeying on to where my lover is waiting on some dark shore Absorbing all the colors never reflecting back Why death takes one and not the other Closing my eyes to the sun It should be black but it is not And if I closed my eyes forever it would not change the pain The lost dreams in my mind I would rather forget me than you But your thoughts for me are sinking into oblivion 11/8/2015
