Song In My Heart
I have a song
within my heart
a silent song
with no words
no particular melody
it exudes
of peace and love
it plays in the morning
as I awake
by your side
it fills the air
day and night
triggered
by a kind word
or your smile
or the twinkle in your eye
it talks of the ideal life we lead
hard times made bearable
now seeming distant
in this fresh morning air
just ringing with
the harmony of you and me
