Sonata of Life
SONATA OF LIFE
Outside my low window on the meadow
I hung pretty wind chimes I once designed
with seven steel rods from inside hollow
to listen the musical notes of wind.
At dawn butterflies flutter on flowers,
send breeze to chime the rhythm of aria.
Birds return to the nest in twilight hours,
rippling wind from wings create sonata.
The storm wind blows wild from the fallen sky,
my mind echoes the sounds of agony
that subsides as rain strokes chant lullaby,
I listen the concert of symphony.
The melody the wind chimes play for me
I hear it turn into life’s rhapsody.
