Somewhere, Someday
I dream somewhere, someday we will be On a hill overlooking the sea Waving sorrow and despair bye-bye Somewhere, someday below lustrous sky. Gentle breeze blowing away our cares Bringing back happiness we once shared Utter perfection, so romantic Midway to paradise, wish granted. We'll listen to sea rushing to shore A symphony of the sound waves roar And the squawk of seagulls soaring by Ornamental birds hovering high. We shall stand in awe until sunset To witness sky turning shades of red Then beneath twinkling stars up above We'll celebrate the magic of love. Together we will kneel down and pray In thanks for a pleasurable day A day to treasure our whole lives through Somewhere, someday in a tryst we two.

A poetic write, Belle, in which your love is expressed so uniquely and with sparkling brilliance! Phenomenal imagery, as well. Panagiota xx

Belle, your poems have such a melancholy expression to them. For some reason, being close to the ocean has almost always made me feel happier. I hope you will be in a better mood very soon. PS: Please check soup mail.

Thank you Sotto, I’m always happy to be by the sea too. My moods do fluctuate, since Alan has been ill when he’s ok then so am I, but when he’s not well I do get very anxious there’s so many things happening it’s scary. Have just read the SoupMail… Belle

I know you did Victor and that makes me sad too, at least I’ve still got hope that my dreams all come true. Take care… Belle

Your lines are so wistfully expressed, Belle. The sea has always felt like a healing place for me.

Thank you Jenna, I always found the sea healing too, until we recently had a short seaside break and came back really ill. My husband ended up in hospital, alas it was the dreaded covid… Belle
