Sometimes I Wish
Sometimes I wish I could write what I feel
And feel what I write
Sometimes I wish this life wasn’t so real
For nothing feels right
Sometimes I wish I could let the tears flow
The cry of my heart
Sometimes I wish I knew the place to go
Just to fall apart
Sometimes I wish I’d drive away these blues
And try out new wings
Sometimes I wish I were wearing glass shoes
And just forget things
Sometimes I wish with the wind to ballet
My problems outrun
Sometimes I wish I could just melt away
Like snow in the sun
Sometimes I wish with my moods I could deal
Set this world aright
Sometimes I wish I could write what I feel
And feel what I write
