dead end street take a detour."

Sometimes, life feels like a dead end street,
an intersection where the street lights are broken;
it is dark and scary and I am frozen in fear,
silent as death except for my heartbeat.
Yet, I am hearing whispered words spoken,
and they are not far but quite near;
I start walking and find myself in a grave yard.
Is this a dream? I know this path and I am heartbroken.
Then, I am back on the dead end street with a tear;
with memories deep and with my soul forever scarred-
Stars blinking like a chandelier !
