Something Old Something New

Something Old - This Gift Of Life- 1 This gift of life- a miracle is she- with eyes of blue and dark brown, silky hair- for I, a mom and grandma now would be allowed to share new joys beyond compare. Allowed to hold and love three of my own- and later, their sweet babes would fill my heart. So blessed am I, that five from mine have shown how love can multiply from a small start. Now, here you are- great-granddaughter of mine- fourth generation; new limb on our tree. So many years have passed- but love's design still fills my grateful heart so wondrously. Life's cycles come and go- oh, how I'm blessed to hold my grandson's child close to my breast. November 15, 2019 (great-granddaughter 1- born 08/28/2019) ------------------------------------------------------ Something New - This Gift Of Life- 2 My gift of life- now two years old is she- with eyes of blue, and golden, curly hair; now I, her great-grandmother, do agree to watch her grow- brought joys beyond compare. Yes, you are here- great-granddaughter of mine- fourth generation; new limb on our tree. So many years have passed- but love's design still fills my grateful heart so wondrously. Great news! Big-sister role you'll soon assume- come February- brand new baby girl! Another blossom on our tree will bloom, and special sister-love, for you, unfurl. Life's cycles come and go- as I'm blest twice; will hold two great-granddaughters- doubly nice!
