Something I Am Not
SOMETHING I AM NOT
Me proceeding alone on turquoise night
Thunderstorm whirling on devastation
I’ll accept storm as close companion
and illuminate path igniting soul.
I am not escapist.
Malice envy in guise, when detected,
Careless cunning camouflage gets exposed,
Won’t compromise but act prompt to discard.
Won’t allow any space for wickedness.
I am not to indulge.
When devotional divine love gets smashed,
Innocent amorous flow stops to dry,
Emotive urge surges turning heavy hatred,
I prefer surgery of relationship.
I am not to forgive.
Straightforward never wearing opaque mask.
Rude crude or polite on righteous path.
My face reflects instant joy or sorrow,
always accompanying truth even ruthless.
I am not to pretend.
