SOMEONE WHO WILL TAKE ME AS ME


Someone who will take me as me...

Gone are the days that I set standards 
just to possibly disinter who is who
Gone are the days that I dig into
just the appearance of my eyes can see

above failures crash my thoughts and my dreams;
even sharp arrows pierce my heart
but above all these...

I thank my Father God 
that I never stop hoping
I never stop moving
I never stop loving
though there are times 
I asked Him why
I assess my whole being 
of where did I fail...

Have I love so less?
Have I show so less?
Have I said so less?

Adieu to pride and greed, this I did
as they roam like mist disturbing man
yet, when love ramps and brace, 
it blocks fears and threats
caused by problems and storms

Disease and doubt cripple the self 
but if genuine love germs,
healing flowers then it permeates
Unmindful of who you are 
(past and present...)
and where you from...

Selfless to nail a heart full of affection 
with roots clinging within the core of the soul

old age predisposes the  skin to sag 
it causes the hair to gray and brittle 
it cause the body to deteriorate
but what remains true...
a love that wells to dwell
though there is the invented word: DEATH.

L O V E in its essence
is bold and courageous to pursue
Its lustrous flames wag
fearless 
unchangeable
unshakable
and unfailing...

Yes oh Yes tears convulse the mind
and may even stroke the memories;
Disagreements too, awake and arrest
yet, none of them can corrode true love

granting that the individuals involve
chose to mend, restore and start anew.

Willingness. Compromise. Acceptance.
Understanding. Dedication. Honesty.
Loyalty.Trust. Commitment.

Oh! Father God...

I implore thee 
Take me to Your loving arms
You alone accept me for who I am
You see beyond my even and my odds
You know the rhythmn of my heart
You read the running neurons in my head

I abide in thee
Reveal unto me Your Gracious will
I admit~ apart from You 
I am nothing.
All I have, it came from You.

Always. More than ever
I am seeking Your Holy presence.

I surrender.

And wherever I go 
Oh Father God, 
allow me to be a blessing

for more of You
and less of me
is much better
than this whole world
Amen.
