Somebody's Lying To Me
I ain’t buying it,
what some lying fool is trying to sell me
Saying they’re promoting a truth
thru the use of dishonesty
You gotta know when somebody
is lying to you blatantly
You gotta be able to smell it on their lips,
that foul aroma of a dung variety ...
an odor even a blind man recognizes easily
Some fools be lying thru their teeth,
dragon breathing on you
Other toilet brain fools be talking
potty mouth diaper doo-doo
But they all got the same blank, high-deaf look
streaming from the screen on your TV
I ain’t taking the bait,
what some con fool is trying to lure me
Saying they’re giving you pure bottled truth,
distilled thru deception and trickery
Feels like some politician Pinocchio
is about to start nose jiving you and me
And I ain’t gon let them
insult my intelligence ... you best believe
Seems like somebody’s lips
got verbal slime oozing from the TV
I can always see the lies
snaking out, remotely trying to tempt me!
