Absolutely beautiful Maureen. Feelings well shared. To lose is to gain. To end is to begin. But no matter what alternative universe one might live in; the feelings are the same.

No matter the briefness, and no matter the distance, true love defies all odds. Those that truly love, will never forget - because they that were truly loved ..shall never be forgotten! God bless.

You call upon an army of emotions to come forth from their slumber and carry you through this ordeal. An outpouring of emotions that surges up from the heart and splashes against the page. Emile.

The very disease that claimed her life helped you get closer to her, and forgive. I was deeply touched when I first read this yesterday but I was not sure that I was understanding it right. You have a beautiful heart Maureen and your poem says it all :) Amitiés

Such sorrow and joy in this poem, Maureen. My mother died four years ago, it seems like yesterday sometimes. But just like you, the fond memories brightens our spirit. A loving tribute to your mother. I was touched deeply. Love and peace to you always.

Thank you Freddie. I know it's weird to consider cancer a gift, but it gave us the opportunity to connect, she didn't want to, I insisted. We were both healed by the experience and I had the chance to forgive her, which I believe she needed most of all. Bless you dear xomo
