Some Say 'Love-In'
I must be fourteen days away from home
Standin' in the rain thumbin' for a ride
Kerouac said that it was good to roam
He must have wandered before the sun died
Went soul searchin', didn't learn a damn thing
Already knew I didn't like the cold
I came out here to rejoice and to sing
Didn't find that love that others have told
Never saw that blonde with the stringy hair
The blue eyed one with open toed sandals
I've seen her picture with the shoulders bare
Carryin' flowers and scented candles
It's not so easy out here bein' free
Some say "love-in" - couldn't prove it by me
