Beautiful and powerful This seems like it should be among the classic greats. I am going to add it to my favorites. I cannot wait to share this with my seventeen year old son. He loves the adventures of the sea.

Harry loved how you put him in danger give him hope, then bring him back to face the sea again for what is coming. That twist at the end was quite the surprise...

Harry I felt what you wrote, the fear of the sailor, the sky clearing - amazingly creative and intense imagery - but 'red sky a warning' sounds like danger. Beautiful poetry Harry. Thank-you. Blessings and hugs, Jennifer.

Oh to be a sailor. One is truly in the lap of the Gods, yet salt water seems to be in their veins and the challenge of the sea is accepted. Another fine verse Harry - Lindsay
