Solitude By The Reverie
Come now and find me
in my solitude...
my solitude by the reverie
of dark and quiet nights
beside my lamp's soft glow
at keyboard there
composing verbal tunes
with rhythmic measure
of my chosen words
that flow onto the screen
just like a song.
For here my dreamy meditation
rules in visionary ways
alone with filed images
of days gone by
that come alive
on solitude's dark stage
and dance and twirl with magic words
across the white,
accepting page.
