Solitude
Stillness in the mind comes from a breath, deep
Filtering through my spirit like a friend
Alone in evening's walk, I watch night sweep
Across the dark sea, that has no end
To see the emptiness of a long beach
And sink in its plastered sand with tired feet
Then seek a solitude my mind can reach
And befriend time for relaxed state I'll greet
Before night completes its crawl so silent
I'll feel the rhythm of a gentle wave
And release my soul, to be compliant
And let it soar from this vessel, this cave
I'll find the freedom of a spirit in flight
And enjoy silence from the coming night
