Soft Shadows

The willows whisper clouds gaze above On forgotten fields that once grew love Eye's sparkle gone dust in its place A fading flower hope's tear-stained face The day is ending Hues' kiss goodnight Soft shadows cruel tease That everything's all right ~Lyric Man Note: This is an echo poem from one of my favorite poets on the Soup. I heard she has now gone and I had the beauty and the melancholy colliding inside.
