Soft
"You visit the earth and water it, You greatly enrich it; The river of God is full of water; You provide their grain, For so You have prepared it. You water its ridges abundantly, You settle its furrows; You make it soft with showers, You bless its growth."
~ Psalm 65: 9, 10 (The Holy Bible)
Soft are the showers that fall on the earth,
The river of God surely provides mirth,
The earth is enriched when God visits it,
He provides grain and makes it for life fit,
He sprays its ridges, settles its furrows,
Showers make it soft and blessed as it grows,
Softly showers fall, soft they do their job,
Rejoicing our hearts and making them throb.
