Soapy Utopia

My utopia has soap I like mine hung from a rope When the world gets rough soap bubbles help me cope Lather up here and there wash away every care I love the smell of my shampoo as it permeates my hair Don't burst my bubbles please Let me enjoy a bath full of ease With soft music and candles a glass of wine and some cheese My utopia has soap It endows me with hope Once again ready for life Soap bubbles help me cope!

The words were fun and the imagery placed the scene clearly in the mind of the reader. The wit and cheeky image of the author in a tub has been transposed onto the page and makes for a good read. Emile.

Down right adorable! I did, however, become concerned that you might accidentally swallow some soap, especially with the wine and cheese, and that built up my own gag, but I'm sure I'm digressing here. I'll be fine as long as I don't think of Ivory. Light weight, well-written and bubbling over with happy, I truly enjoyed this bit of good clean fun! Poetry hugs ... CayCay
