So Very Long Ago
Has it been that long?
Yes. I guess...
many years
(past to present)
have come and gone;
many seasons:
leafless and green;
bare and blossomed;
plentiful and lean;
Thank God! Not many
downright mean...
like wine
corked and sealed
memories
bear their stamp of
time--
too very long ago
since yours
with mine.
