So Sweet the Gift

So Sweet the Gift Son racing down the street in his hand a red oak leaf awesome was his amazement at that which he saw God had made I marvel greatly at the soul God had gifted my wife and me to be able to see God in a simple red leaf from a common tree We both finding God's gifts to be so very sweet and magic in so simple a belief! Robert L. 05-21-2014 Written because my son raced into our yard today from school just at end of our street. In his hand he had single red leaf. Dad, look what I found! Look what God made! Knock me over with a feather, that boy got my spirit residing in his heart and soul and enjoys having the beauty of his mother for all to see. Thank God...

Sorry I told you that you were young. You're a father...oops, my bad! Awesome! God is a gracious creator, isn't He? Say hi to your son for me. He sounds cool just like you! God is a mighty creator. This is a good faith-based poem I wouldn't miss. Red leaves are gorgeous especially in the spring and fall! Have a blessed week and take care and hope you and your family has a joyous day! -DWB

Thanks, no problem. My words often lead others to think my age that of a younger man. I am a father and a grandfather as well. Appreciate your kind words!

I've had so many gifts sent to me over the last 4 decades. I know my Dad's faith and prayer for his children's future happiness came true...
