So Said The Oracle

When you dread swimming with sharks, those waters do not welcome you Frustration may push you towards recognition and power Wait Listen Find the waters where dolphins swim A friendly channel in the deep ocean where still the whole world plays Well meaning companions will advertise many different directions for you They are not you Thank them, appreciate the support they offer Imbibe the hopes and dreams they have collected for you But If their vision of success does not unlock your heart and set you free Do not stop to invest Do not distribute precious bits of your life force wantonly Do not waste your limited time in this plane of existence Too old does not exist Stuck is a frame of mind We all engage in the pursuit of happiness Every last human Every last endeavor can be boiled down to this Are you happy? Don’t be afraid of honesty The truth WILL set you free Possibility is limited only by imagination Aim carefully Your target is a natural spring of motivation You will stop struggling, treading water, maybe drowning Your experience will become… Enlivened, fresh, rewarding Even fun! Trust yourself Dare it Your mind is cracked? Your baggage heavy, seemingly endless? You are not looking at yourself as a friend You are cracking a whip you saw in other people’s hands You are right, for all anyone could ever be in your shoes You are beautiful, look upon yourself and try on a smile I myself cry doing this It bubbles out of nowhere It strangely reveals how ugly I have felt Unearths the years of nastiness I have associated with myself Yet I speak resolutely: And so it was good There is a place out there for you and for me It never disappears It waits It is waiting This is my hand holding yours Let’s rise above, let’s go!
