The snowflakes had fallen all through the night,
yet, I woke to a winter wonderland crisp and white.
The trees were wearing sweet gowns. Oh what a sight!
So excited to be outside and with my scarf I had a fight,
then, I stepped out into the falling snow. Oh, delight!
The wind was howling so I had to hold my coat tight,
it took my hat and my hair with that wind of might.
but, I kept walking enjoying the flakes falling despite.
