You live where it snows, yes? You write of it so well! I do not, so snow holds such a romantic, mysterious quality to it. The land 'hibernating' is so evocative of winter, like a bear in her cave. The snow quietly covering the land in a soft blanket has almost a lullaby sense to it. I'm already feeling sleepy! Picturesque and delightful, Susan.

Yes, I live where it snows, but unfortunately, this past winter we received very little :( I do love snow. Other than the joy of playing in it and the challenge of shoveling it, to me, snow symbolizes serenity, romance, turbulence, delicacy and the pure power and artistry of Nature.
