Smiling Beauties
Purple smiles blossom in spring;
irises laughing softly,
grace a field of tulip joy
with velvet colors.
Parrot-petals chit-chatting
along my fence rows, beaming
with glee as they watch roses,
blossoming in sun.
Here in my flower garden,
newborn beauties stretch to sun;
awaken to another
flowering morning.
I smile joyously at them;
they flash-smile back at me and
I know they are happy to
grace the greenery.
