Slipping What is expected from perfection? Do your best, and none can find fault. The level of your challenge, needs to be higher, than your attainable goal. Help others rise with you, and the water boils hot. The steam brings newness… washed clean, what was once stuck on. The burden is shared, The team is measured. The mountains, smaller, the warriors, on their knees… taller. A knot at the end of the rope, replaced by a hand.. up.

I just love the images you presented at the end of the poem --- mountains, warriors, a knot at the end of a rope. Very telling. Nicely penned, Ann! :) gw
