Slipping

Petals unfurl under the passing of her shadow I am lost in the silences of her face Her voice strips me from inside Where blackened embers of self try to relight as shame tries to hide behind Forgotten how to forget Skys of tide died Where colour takes it place Disguised atop her eyes Layers of light humble themselves beneath the greys of loves unfiltered gaze
