Slice of Heaven

Today, l believe l saw little slice of heaven on earth In the midst of the Yorkshire Dales Driving through narrow winding country roads Surrounded by the grandeur of magnificent green vales Never have l seen such splendour As these undulating sculptured fields of art Embracing my being with indescribable joy Wrapping loving hands around my heart No words l have within me Can describe its celestial worth Today, l truly believe l saw A little slice of heaven on earth

You, my dear Deb, have the gift of seeing what many miss or take for granted. The dales and vails, meadows and fields are canvases that nature paints. Beauty that we should appreciate like you do… to make us feel that it was wrapping it’s hands around our hearts.

You have a beautiful soul, you see beauty in all that which deserves to be seen, sometimes in the midst of chaos we forget to stop and appreciate all that, but i can see you do, you may think you dont have enough words to describe, but you did it in sheer eloquence. i think if we take a minute everyday, to fine heaven on earth through nature and Gods creation, maybe we might be more content, thank you for reminding me to do that through your words too! Loved reading this
