Sleepless Nights

I cry myself to sleep and find there are no dreams only shadows that weep with their faint lonely screams they echo through my mind a continuous sound from voices that remind that once made my heart pound loneliness is a curse and a bringer of pain where my soul does immerse in its deep dark membrane there is no tomorrow only the nights and days both are filled with sorrow as my emptiness stays 8/26/22 contest Strong Emotions Poetry sponsor Emile Pinet...Despair
