Sleeping Beauty

Rainfall in the desert regenerate the fern- Rose of Jericho awakens again Note:The "Rose of Jericho" originates from the deserts of Israel, between Jerusalem and the Dead Sea, The lowest point on Earth. It was during the middle-ages, that Crusaders first found this plant. They noted its remarkable ability to be "brought back to life" after giving every appearance of being dead and dried. The knights returned with it to Europe, and sanctified the plant, naming it the "Resurrection Plant". It is an ancient custom, to let the Rose-of-Jericho open up for Christmas and Easter and surprise little children with this miracle.

As always, Brian...your words should be set to music...this Cinqku reminds me of a song sung by Tara MacLean entitled 'Jericho' - very beautiful, haunting and engrossing. Wishing you and your loved ones Happy Holidays. Peace always, John

Wow. I am imagining the look on children's faces of wonder and awe. Think mine would be the same. Nature's miracles, right before our eyes. A wondrous symbol. Love, Shar
