Sleep Soup

Does the soup like as do i ? Sleep with 1 eye open ? Whilst the other eye sleeps soundly closed wishing for a dream or lullaby to whimper or tickle any of it's scenes So when i wake up have if nothing else at least gained something freshly squeezed from my subconscious to hopefully write about As in my dreams i am happy to play front and centre the hero and the lead the deliverer of the killer line the ladies man the captain of the sinking ship the president or general a man amongst men Who once upon waking up in the morning is the embodiment of blending into the shadows and goes about his daily business day dreaming he is not the actual owner of a car with cheesy bumper stickers on the back
