Listen to poem:
softspoken words released
in flight to kiss his lips
eager to wrap him in the
gentle arms of silence
each breath caressing
the velvet of his whispers
intent to waltz me
well into my dreams
he loves me in a million ways
from early sunup until
the stars themselves grow dim
and one by one they fall to sleep
