Sleep
In an empty room,
Silence is company.
Thinking of someone, anyone,
Sings you to sleep.
Reminders of past loves, lost loves,
Broken hearts.
Stillness in breath, the air,
Is calming.
Moments of quiet grace, the stars,
Watch over you.
And everything is perfect.
Just for tonight.
