Sat with the dog Wondering what to do with my day His day is made worthwhile If I stay right where I am And I thank him for the permission To lounge about with purpose It's nice that my presence Gives him peace

You can’t go wrong with a good dog poem like this one. “To lounge about with purpose,” is a great line. John

Ahhh!! My dog that we adopted for some reason doesn't want to sit with me but enjoys lying scrunched down in my pillows on my side of the bed. I was delighted to read this one which reminds me of the good old days when my female Chihuahua loved to be right by my side. Thanks for sharing and for dropping by my page. Sara
