JUST A SKELETON SITTING HERE
NOTHING BUT BONES
NO ONE SHOWS UP
so I just continue to sit here, on this park bench
Waiting for the perfect man to come this Christmas
HERE I SIT AT REST
I WAIT ON THIS PARK BENCH
JUST A SKELETON AWAY
WIND BLOWS TWIT MY BONES
I SIT HERE ALONE...
awaiting for the perfect man
ON THIS PARK BENCH AT Christmas
No one understands
A WOMAN WHO'S ENDOWED
AWAITING HER MAN A GROOM
FOR Holy Matrimony
A MIDST THE FOLIAGE AND BRUSH
FOR YEARS ON END
I SIT HERE MOST OF MY LIFE
LONGING TO BE A WIFE
JUST A SKELETON SITTING HERE
NOTHING BUT BONES
NO ONE SHOWS UP
so I just continue to sit here, on this park bench
Waiting for the perfect man to come
